I don’t even think it makes sense for Sudan to remain “united”. In fact I don’t see when the country ever was united. Its borders are artificial, created by imperialists. And it was then handed over by Egypt and Britain to an Arab government that certainly doesn’t represent at least the African population of Sudan, if even the Arab such.

It’s pretty much a written form of the printed Hebrew script. Letters are the same except Samekh is missing and stops and fricatives are counted as separate letters.

I saw the word “Al-Sudan” and “united” (something like “muchad”) and the name “Drimah” (Dalet Resh Yud Mem TawMarbuta) and then decided to let Google translate figure out the rest for me.

First post in Arabic. Nice and short. More to come. I’m sooooo not used to writing in Arabic about political issues that require using big words like authoritarianism.
