Israel and the Double J Heresy

by Drima on October 31, 2009

The last few days have been awesomely interesting to watch, and so far, I’m loving what I see.

I call it double J heresy: J-Street and Jon Stewart.

Some AIPAC dudes are probably thinking to themselves “gosh, such evil self-hating Jews, Jon Stewart and these J-Street people are. How dare they challenge our agenda!”

Watch Jon Stewart commit some needed heresy.

Definitely a welcome sign. And it looks like I’m joined by these happy Jews who agree too.

Fun times.

And damn is Anna Baltzer HOT. Oh yeah baby.

Drima…

I glanced it…what is new about portraying the Palestinians as innocent victims with no responsibility for the problems there?

I follow the J-Street movement and have followed Mondoweiss for some time. These notions are not as uncommon as one might think from but now less hidden and more publicized.
I’m glad stewart is tackling them too.

“I glanced it…what is new about portraying the Palestinians as innocent victims with no responsibility for the problems there?”

I don’t understand the constant excitement when somebody blames Israel for something. It’s not like it rarely happens.

These days you cannot even show your face in certain circles (including most of show business) without changing the subject to Israel and blaming it for something.

From one of the articles:

“He finally made it clear what the Palestinians are calling for – equal rights.”

Funny. That demand must have been drowned out between the calls for throwing the Jews into the sea and the demand for Islamic rule over the world.

“Equal rights” is a new one. A dramatic change on the “Palestinian” side?

Equal rights they can have. That was never an issue.

Hear that? The conflict is over. They only want equal rights now. Hope they still remember it next year when they elect their new leaders. Vote for the “equal rights” party (whichever one it is) and not for the “throw Jews into the sea” parties for a change.

I am so delighted.

Unless they were lying again.

Anyone want to bet which parties they will vote for? Will it be equal rights parties or will it be the “death to the Jews” parties?

Talking about equal rights….

“Talking about equal rights….”

So this is what we can expect? I don’t understand why everyone demands that Israel change. Israel is doing OK for the equal rights thing.

I’d love to see your reaction to a well-funded Arab organization pursuing anti-Arab agenda. That’s how we see J Street

10 Andrew Brehm 11.03.09 at 10:21 pm

“That’s how we see J Street”

I see J Street more as a group of Ashkenazi Jews who live in America and hence see no need for a well-defended Jewish state since they themselves are not currently under attack.

Remember, a “Zionist” is a Middle-Eastern Jew who is alive.

Palestinina Arabs already have equal rights in Israel - the ones who live there that is. The ones who live outside it dont’ deserve anything but they get a lot of aid from Israel - jobs, electricity, water (which Hamas steals) and attendance educational institutions and degrees, plus free hospital care, including that given to would-be bombers!

They don’t want “equal rights”. According to their recent Fatah conference they want “all of Jerusalem” (big surprise) “clean” of settlers and Jews.
Just like their Arab brothers achieved by cleansing Arab countries of their Jewish inhabitants, and as these same Arab countries are doing to Christians.
That, my bigoted friend, is ethnic cleansing.

You keep gloating about these horrible people - perhaps you and they are slimy little brothers under the skin. Yes, keep gloating - and pretneding that no-one knows the truth about Arabs and their murderous actions against Israel.

BTW - Antony Loewenstein is Australian, and is loathed by Jew and Non-Jew alike.

Such movements are not new in diverse Jewish world.
I wonder when we are going to see MU-Street in action?
