So What if Obama Is a Muslim AND an Arab?

Dear Campell Brown, thank you so much for stating the obvious.

Well, it doesn’t matter if he’s Arab (it’s just an ethnicity).

But, well, if he’s a (mainstream) Muslim that’s potentially a… bit of a problem, say? For the obvious reasons: Jihad, Dhimma, horrific barbarism in every aspect of life, opposition to lending with interest, invalidity of agreements with non-Muslims, treating women like slaves, etc.

Not to mention the problem of being part of two nations that are almost openly at war - the Ummah and America.

Oh, and should he be a non-mainstream Muslim, well, he’ll very soon be declared an apostate. And we know what that means.

Surely this should be a major issue for a presidential candidate?

Isn’t he an apostate anyway, since his father was a Muslim and he declared himself a Christian?

That’s President-elect Obama now. Cheers.

Gods help us all. Here start the celebrations.

5 Andrew Brehm 11.05.08 at 9:16 am

Celebrations link doesn’t work?

6 Drima 11.05.08 at 11:07 am

But Abu Sa’ar, I thought you don’t believe in God.

:P

Drima - I believe in Gods, plural, with me and you and sentient beings having membership in that esteemed group. I can, therefore, freely implore the Gods for assistance ;)

Celebrations link was supposed to lead to an Jpost article about Hamas launching a massive barrage of Kassams on Israel this morning. To celebrate Obama’s election, no doubt.

Having said all that, by the way, I hope I am dead wrong about BHO and that his nature is as good as his PR.

The only problem would be if he was hiding the fact that he was an Arab or a Muslim and pretending to be something else. I think that that is the only reason it is brought up.

Obama just named the son of militant Zionist, Rahm Emanuel, as his Chief-of-Staff.

War with Iran, anyone?

11 lirun 11.08.08 at 9:25 am

the same son of a militant who choreographed peace ceremonies.. nice one

“Obama just named the son of militant Zionist, Rahm Emanuel, as his Chief-of-Staff.”

Excellent.

Maybe Obama is not a loonie after all.

13 Andrew Brehm 11.10.08 at 12:37 pm

Seriously now, with Colin Powell and Rahm Emanuel President-elect Obama is surrounding himself with the right people.

Raccoon, maybe it is time to lighten up. Despite what Kurdish news papers feared (I brought copies from Arbil) Obama will in all likelyhood not withdraw troops from Iraq.

And as for peace in the middle east, history has shown that compromising with the terrorists has not been as effective as brute force. (It didn’t work with Germany, why would it work with with Arab dictators?)

Arbil? WTF, mate? You serious? When?

Also read the following blog entries.

I also have two galleries with pictures of Arbil old city and one of Saddam’s secret police headquarters in Sulimeiniya. Links are in the articles.
