If God can do everything, can He create a stone which He Himself cannot roll?

    You are assuming that an all-powerful being cannot willingly limit its own powers.

    I myself believe that when G-d created mankind, He willingly gave up some of His power to create human free will, the will He cannot control and the rock He cannot roll.

    Indeed. I myself believe that that each level of creation was made with a certain set of… game rules, if you will - though frankly, I suspect that the Almighty has all the cheat-codes.

    This conundrum made my morning. I found it amusing, because God is already immensely difficult to fathom as it is, without making up hypothetical situations for him.

    There is no God at all. God is an illusion, a man made creation. However, I would be open to an all nighty Goddess.

    Susan : “an illusion, a man made creation.” Even so, an illusion/man made creation can make a lot of humans do a lot of good or crazy things.

    And don’t worry: God doesn’t care if you believe in Him or not.
