… or to be more specific, a political blogger, especially in our super democratic part of the world.

Seems like some pictures are still worth a thousand words. This particular one is perfect for the issue at hand.

Some human artifacts are so stupid and naive, that they defeat their purposes.

I think that there is no clear association with the picture above and political blogging, other than DO NOT TRY TO CENSURE glog talk nor ATTEMPT TO REGULATE WHAT PEOPLE THINK. Blogging is a post modern freedom.

Like the example: if I announce to you NOT TO THINK about a given thing, You cannot NOT THINK about that very same thing.

Do not think about a boat. The utterance of the word boat leads a person to think about a boat no matter what.

I think blogging captures this issue of non-thought naivete (from those in power) pretty well.

“On the second day after the birth of Bayan and Faisal, a Soviet-made “Grad” rocket landed on the hospital grounds. “I heard it hit, 200 meters away from me,” says Shafii. The neonatal unit was moved to a bunker the next day. “The groups that are firing the rockets are not fighting a just war,” says the Palestinian mother, adding that they are not abiding by what the Prophet Muhammad said: that wars may only be waged between soldiers, but not against civilians.”

Isn’t it weird that Palestinian Arabs, once they are out of Hamas’ and the PLO’s control, completely disagree with their “supporters” in the west and the extremists among their own?

Without blogs, how would Arabs learn anything about Israel?
