Why Terrorists Would Dress Like Americans

And why profiling for security purposes probably isn’t a smart strategy. Confused? Okay, allow me to elaborate a tiny bit.
Some found it offensive, others were confused and didn’t know whether to be amused or angry. As for myself, I burst out laughing. Hilarious!
Just watch it. Please watch it. It’s a no-miss. You’ll get what I’m talking about after viewing it for just a little over one minute.

LOL
Gotta love Australian comedy.
Profiling is admittedly pointless. The only reason that it exists at all is that security needs to be seen in order to be effective. It’s the same thing with that stupid shoe removal routine. It’s all just to make passengers feel better.
“Profiling is admittedly pointless.”
Is it?
How many Irish-looking people smuggle weapons onto planes?
Seriously, racial profiling works, that’s why it’s done. No, it’s not “fair” and it is offensive, but it is cheaper than checking everyone and more secure than checking random people. And yes, it will target innocent people because of what they look like. But it does what it is supposed to achieve.
I don’t think it works for cloths. Terrorists dress in whichever way is helpful for their mission, not particularly Arab.
In the case of the Arab “tourist” taking pictures of the bridge, I would think he is either a harmless wanna-be terrorist or an actual weird Arab bridge enthusiast. An actual dangerous terrorist planner would be less conspicuous.
And in the case of both “tourists” taking pictures of the nuclear site, I would tell them to stuff it, and that goes for both the technology-admiring Arab and the American left-wing radical anti-nuclear-power terrorist.
I’m sorr for being off-topic here, but I found this article on the Iranian Republic News Agency (I know, not the best source,.. haha):
Iran-Sudan sign defence cooperation agreemen
http://www2.irna.ir/en/news/view/menu-234/0803077730190214.htm
I think it is funny the way they present this. Whether we like it or not it is how many people think these days. “3 police paddy wagons and a car full of dogs?” They don’t like jokes do they?
aussies *are* funny, who knew- do you know the name of the prog?
something the middle east excels in is paranoia, everyone else is pathetically amateurish really. none of the guards bothered to delete the pics on the spot, or if they did it wasn’t shown.
they don’t need to recruit an american anyway to go under radar. syrians, lebs and the pals are of the shawam variety, i can’t think of the english word, could be semitic. Basically, quite a few (pals to a lesser extent) are light skinned, have green or light brown eyes and blonde or brown hair. They are often mistaken for being ‘non arab’.
