Provided that their numbers aren’t too big, I whole heartedly welcome them. I sincerely do but seriously…
this just one major pathetic PR move by the government. Nothing else!
For ****’s sake, what about our own damn refugees? What about them? Don’t they deserve some help too?
Arghhhhh… Brilliant!

Sorry…but I can only be utterly cynical on this one…
Sudan losing sleep over the Palestinians…
How convenient…Crocodile Tears near the Nile…And Nubians go to war, and Southern Sudanese still pick up the pieces and Darfurians suffer and die…
But the Muslim world does not exploit the Palestinian situation…nope…
Oh…and did you hear the outcry in Sudan while the Lebanese were blasting Palestinians the last few months? It was the roar of a pin dropping.
I’m with Howie on this one, man. And my guess, with all the refugees you guys now have in your country, the Palestinian refugees aren’t going to get much beyond their current border-tents. The PR has already been reaped, so that’s that.
Incidentally, I remember reading that the PA and Israel agreed to let some Iraqi Palestinians into the West Bank. Let me see if I can find an article…

Not much, but something at least. After the second Intifada, security measures became a great deal stricter. The current reality isn’t changing much for the better, either.
With a government like that it makes perfect sense to me that they would try for this sort of populist publicity stunt.
It is making me sick that virtually ALL arab governments only use the palestinian case for PR-stunts. No real love inside them.
Ahmad,
I agree. I think the Jordanian government grants them citizenship though.
