Why Ahmedinejad exploits the Holocaust

by Drima on September 28, 2007

Why does he do it? Here’s the answer. I couldn’t have said it better.

As long as our governments keep feeding us with anti-Semitic garbage and we keep believing it, we’ll continue digging the stinking hole we’re stuck in deeper and we shall remain “intoxicated”.

This is a primary reason for why I think we Arab Muslims should use blogs as alternative sources of information about the real Jews, not the dehumanized ones we’re taught about in school and shown 24/7 in our government sponsored media. Best of all, blogs don’t just spread raw information from the bloggers behind them, but they also allow interaction with them. (Imagine how Web 3.0 technologies will be like in a few years from now).

Thank God for the blogosphere. It has opened my eyes to so much. As you may be able to tell, I have become deeply passionate about this new medium of communication. Too bad there are way too many of us who still remain blind and/or don’t want to leverage its power.

Anyways, Ahmadinejad is a freaking lunatic and the way he exploits the Holocaust is wickedly smart but nonetheless sickening.

Oh and don’t forget, Darfur is a Jewish conspiracy. Only 9,000 people died so far.

The roots of Islamic reform

by Drima on September 25, 2007

Sorry, still busy with academic tasks but I’ll be back with numerous posts including some long ones soon. For now I’ll leave you with this excellent article by Ali Eteraz on a phrase we’re slowly beginning to hear louder and louder: “Islamic reform”.

(Free) The Jena Six

by Drima on September 23, 2007

I had no idea what the hell it was until 2 days ago, which was the first time I heard about it. I was sitting inside the US Embassy waiting for my turn to be interviewed for my Visa and CNN was on. I watched the news but I was a little confused and clueless since I didn’t know the background of the story.

Why was there so much anger? Why were thousands of African Americans protesting? “Wonderful” Jesse Jackson is involved? Damn! Six Jena? Genie and Aladdin? What? I had no idea. And I wasn’t paying full attention to the TV anyway.

Today I came across a Facebook group called “Free The Jena Six” with over 100,000 members. I read the story posted there and then I read other versions of the story elsewhere.

Keeping or removing the brackets in the aforementioned title is apparently a big part of the debate. That’s what I’ve observed. I say the brackets should stay.

The racism without a doubt was extremely appalling and it’s quite shocking to learn it still exists in America to this sad extent. However the word “Free” in “Free The Jena Six” implies the six of them didn’t do anything wrong at all. They did. They responded to appalling racism with violence, and that was a very unfortunate response. As for the sentences, they’re crazy.

What do you think?

Al-Qaeda Promises War in Darfur

by Drima on September 20, 2007

Oh dear.

CAIRO, Egypt – Osama bin Laden will release a new message soon declaring war on Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf, al-Qaida announced Thursday.

… Speakers in the video promised more fighting in Afghanistan, North Africa and Sudan’s Darfur region.

Why isn’t this stinking butcher named Bin Laden dead yet? Someone please drop a bomb on his head. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

Sharia (Islamic Law) is NOT Holy

by Drima on September 19, 2007

I apologize for the lack of posts. Blame it on sudden and unexpected gigantic academic tasks. Oh and here’s why Sharia is simply NOT holy. If you’re Muslim and you disagree with that statement, read the article first. Non-Muslim readers, you’re going to find it highly educational. It basically covers many things on Islam I clumsily talked about on this blog. The overall premise of the article is one I heartily agree with and support. It’s quite long and so I leave you with it.

Prostitution in Dubai

by Drima on September 15, 2007

PBS has an excellent report about prostitution in Dubai. It comes together with a 12 minute video clip which is very revealing and unique. It’s worth your time.

What caught my attention in this short documentary is that some women in Dubai aren’t forced into prostitution but that they actually voluntarily get involved in it. Apparently the money is too good to resist. Some of them make as much as 7,000 American dollars a month. It was a little shocking to me.

Click on the picture below. I LOVE the sexy designs on her arms. It’s a very clever strategy of standing out and kicking the competition’s ass.

A Moroccan prostitute displays the henna patterns on her arms. Muslim prostitutes are paid the highest in Dubai. [Drima: Actually, according to some naughty guys I know who live in Dubai, Arab prostitutes are the most expensive].

Does anything good ever happen in Africa?

by Drima on September 14, 2007

That was the provocative question Sudanese blogger, Kizzie received from someone quite recently:

We were in America and a famous Jewish-American human rights activist/writer/professor invited us for lunch.

Ramadan Kareem & Happy Rosh Hashanah

by Drima on September 13, 2007

To all my Muslim readers, have a great Ramadan. Make the best of it.

To all my Jewish readers, have a wonderful Rosh Hashanah. Make sure you leave for me some of those honey soaked apples.

I hope I don’t receive angry emails from people like Holy Dekazza, for daring to put the words “Ramadan” and “Rosh Hashanah” in the same sentence. Or for indicating that they both start with the letter “r”.

Salam and Shalom to everyone! :)

WTFish Article of the Day: Church Pastor Rapes Two Daughters!

by Drima on September 12, 2007

Via Little.Miss.Dalu

My, oh my, I need to bang my head on a wall a hundred times and puke! WTFish??!

A fundamentalist church pastor had sex with two of his teenage daughters to educate them on how to be good wives, a South Australian court has heard.

One is 13 and the other is 15.

The man told the court the sex was not about fulfilling his desires but about teaching his daughters how to behave for their husbands when they eventually married, as dictated in scripture.

Since when does the Bible instruct a father to rape his daughters? Maybe this loony “religious” nut should go chill with the Taliban in Afghanistan or something.

These are the best parts of the article as observed by Little.Miss.Dalu:

Enraging parts, dutifully, highlighted.

a) The title of this article is infuriating, “had sex?” shouldn’t it be “raped?”
b) and this is according to the scripture? You mean the scripture according to sick rapist fucks? Cuz I sure as hell would like to know where in the bible he pulled this from.
c) His fuckin’ wife and church remain supportive of this bullshit??!
d) HE ONLY GET 8 YEARS WITH ELIGIBILITY FOR PAROLE IN FOUR?

To ‘educate’ them on how to be good wives?

Brain overload.

This is so wrong!

How Long Will the NCP-SPLM “Marriage” Last?

by Drima on September 12, 2007

If this continues, the “marriage” will be no more and we could possibly witness a highly violent divorce. I’m sure all Sudanese would love that.

September 11, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — Heavily armed police raided premises of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement, the peace partner of the ruling National Congress Party, on Tuesday, threatening a partnership created under a peace deal that ended 20 years of north-south war, the SPLM said.

(JPEG)

The former rebels said the raids, which targeted three of its offices in the capital, followed a campaign and slanderous attacks against senior SPLM officials in the national media.

… “Obviously out of courtesy they were supposed to inform the leadership of the SPLM and we were supposed to be there,” he said. “But they came and searched us like criminals. That is unfortunate,” the SPLM deputy secretary general said.

Sudan: Using Children For Assassination Attempts

by Drima on September 10, 2007

This is one hell of a sick, disgusting story.

September 3, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — The deputy governor of Southern Kordofan Maj. Gen. Daniel Kodi, has survived an assassination attempt during event he was addressing last Friday in the city of Kosti.

Eyewitnesses said that an unknown man in the audience handed an explosive device to a child and asked to proceed to the podium where Kodi was present.

However the device exploded before the child made it to the podium and Kodi was unhurt. The assassin was taken into the custody of the SPLM.

The assassin should face a shooting squad. Or not. Ah, just throw him in a tiny stinky cell for life.

The good news is that the kid didn’t die. The bad news is that his hand got blown up quite badly. There are some graphic pictures available here.
