JACKSBORO, Tennessee (AP) — A 15-year-old boy pleaded guilty Tuesday in the killing of a high school official and the wounding of two others under a plea deal announced after jury selection for his trial had started.
…The three school officials had confronted Bartley on November 8, 2005, after hearing that he had a gun in the school. Bartley was in the principal’s office when he fatally shot Assistant Principal Ken Bruce, 48, and wounded Seale and Pierce.

Well they can have Louisiana, but we keep the offshore oil rigs and refineries. The French can relocate all the NOLAs to the suburbs of Paris and let them compete for welfare payments with the immigrants there.
jonah84 has it right. Instead of teaching right from wrong and setting the example for our kids, the kids see parents breaking the rules like it’s cool and are taught in the schools that morality is relative, what one culture sees as evil may not be in another culture. So what grounding in morality do these kids have? The 60’s said if it feels good do it. Now the chickens come home to roost.
Isn’t the public school system fun? The Israeli system is heading down that tube as well, and it sure isn’t pretty. The “let’s let the parents teach all the important parts so as to not insult any subset of them” really doesn’t work.
