Dhiyaa Al-Musawi: A True Voice of Reason

by Drima on March 31, 2007

One word. SANITY! Oh such amazing sanity, it almost makes me want to cry. I’m loving this guy. You simply have to watch this video. Please watch it, pretty please with a cherry on top. I’m in complete agreement! If only we had more of him around and in the right positions.

My wife listened to it in Arabic while I read the translations. She said his Arabic is as beautiful and flowing as his words.

There is much wisdom in what he says.

Yeah, I saw it before. A truly enlightened guy.
What’s the deal with music ? Is a Muslim cleric not supposed to even listen to music ?

There is no question that this enlightened man is a refreshing ray of sunshine in the seemingly barren world of islam.
Long may he live and long may he give rise to more of his kind.
I would love to sit and converse with him.
His teachings should be obligatory on all muslims to study.
Bless him.

Mashallah, I wanted to see this gentleman and give him a BIG hug! As a Muslim who comes from a Christian family, I found his talk so refreshing. Not ashamed to say that I had tears in my eyes. Shameran, another commentetor said that he wished Dhiyaa was a Christian, but thats missing the point - I am glad that he is a loving and wonderful Muslim human being!

Let the dialogue begin.
