US Raid On Iranian Consulate

Or “Consulate”? Whatever it is, it sure is an interesting development. I think this is meant as a warning to Iran not to interfere in Iraq. Hmmmmmm… What’s Iran planning to do next? We’ve heard a lot of rhetoric from Ahmadinejad in the past. 2007 might end up being crazier than 2006.

Interesting. USA continues to apply pressure. Will USA cave before or after 2008? Will Iran overplay their hand and do something horribly stupid, plunging half the world into a real war?

I doubt it. My prognosis - nothing will happen. USA will cave in shortly after the next elections. With the American troops withdrawn, Iran will take over Iraq, parts of Azerbaijan and possibly some of the smaller Arab states. Then they will hit the Saudi wall and discover that the collapse of the Ayatollah regime is inevitable. At this stage they will nuke Israel and be massively nuked in retaliation. This, in turn, will trigger yet another all-Muslims-against-Israel war; nukes will fly all over the place. The Chinese will move in to salvage the ruins, and the American Era will be dead and gone.

LOL Raccoon, you’ve got some creative imagination. I hope you’re dead wrong. Otherwise we’re all screwed!

There are rumours going on that Hassan Abbasi was among the captured.

Might get interesting once this is confirmed!
