what do you say about this, Drima? think it’s fair?

  2. Drima on December 26th, 2006 3:47 pm

Of course not Tse, I gave my detailed opinion in this previous post which I believe you read. Like the guy learning software engineering in the video said… Sudan has enough money and wealth to support ALL the people but our beloved wonderful caring government is just swallowing what it wants and is spitting out the left overs.

If only there were no tribalism (come to think of it, it serves the government pretty good tribalism exists in Sudan - maybe the gov’t is enhancing it… could that be, Drima?)

Without tribalism - ‘the’ people could overthrow this corrupt bunch of selfish wheazels

Tse, the government ENCOURAGES tribalism. This is a well known fact.

Tribalism is one of the root causes for violence in many arab and african countries. Now not to get off topic but Drima did you see those cool Coca Cola bottles!? I want one!

what’s the answer against tribalism? one common ‘enemy’ doesn’t seem to help….

a righteous dictator for a few decennia maybe who may smooth out the creases?

I still think Sudan is in need for a Jerry Rowlings…..

“what’s the answer against tribalism? ”

Movement of the population from the countryside into the cities, and economic growth.

A good example of a country which used to be strongly tribal is Scotland. Somehow the Scots have got past that stage.
