Omar al-Bashir the Propaganda Machine Thinks We’re All Retarded Ignorant Fools

Oh yes he does! Too bad he’s going to need some really good acting classes and more consistency in order to seem more believeable. The filthy Jews, oh the filthy Jews… at least they ain’t so filthy this time. I mean hey they only killed 9000 darkies in Darfur right? It could have been worse. Oh well… this is all so “lovely”!
Busy. More on this later.
Check out the response of Sudanese opposition parties to al-Bashir’s propaganda rant.
Nov 28, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — Sudanese political parties criticised President Omar Hassan al-Bashir on Tuesday, saying that in a news conference broadcast live to nine countries he showed signs of denial and lack of respect for Sudanese lives.
“Signs of denial” and “lack of respect”? Hmmmm. That was said with some real heavy sugar coating. I would put it very differently but I’m going to behave myself and zip my mouth. Otherwise you’re going to see a lot of F-words here and there all over the place.
…”When he denies the sun in the middle of the day that means either he is not serious or he thinks people are fools,” added Rahman, who is political secretary of the opposition party.
Yes apparently we’re all retarded ignorant fools. Oh mighty al-Bashir, oh great one you are so much smarter than all of us.
Mariam al-Mahdi, spokeswoman for the opposition Umma Party, said Bashir has shown a lack of respect for the lives of Sudanese people, adding that a few months ago he had said 10,000 people have been killed in the troubled region of western Sudan, more than the 9,000 he mentioned on Monday night.
Yup, I remember reading that in previous articles too. Oh mighty al-Bashir. Please, oh please, oh please… if you’re going to lie, at least be consistent. Yesterday it’s 10,000. Today it’s 9,000. Tomorrow it will be 5,000. Please our beloved president, oh please… consistency please… consistency!
“How can our last resort — the president — belittle the deaths of Sudanese people?” she said.
Hmmmm. Let me think. Ouch my head hurts. I need to think harder. Oh yaaaay. I figured it out. A big light bulb just appeared over my head. Grrrrr, apparently Mariam al-Mahdi is living in cloud 9. He belittles them simply because he just doesn’t give a “fish”. Is it so hard to figure that out?
The world’s largest humanitarian operation is under way in Darfur, with around 14,000 aid workers caring for 2.5 million driven from their homes during 3-1/2 years of conflict.
Bashir said the aid workers were trying to prolong the crisis to keep their jobs.
Ya sure, because Darfur is just such a wonderful place and aid workers simply love chilling there. They don’t want to leave. Oh no they don’t want to. They’ll cry and they’ll all get heartbroken after leaving. People of the world, come to Darfur the best vacation spot on the planet. Ask the aid workers and they’ll tell you how much they love it there. Oh yes the corpses, the raped pregnant women, the death, the destruction, the misery, the despair, it’s all just so very lovely. You’ll really enjoy it.
“Ultimately foreigners are more kind to our people than our president,” said Mahdi.
Well of course they are. What did you think? The filthy dogs just want our oil and uranium. That’s why they’re kinder. They’re just pretending and waiting for the right time to strike. God damn you filthy Western Christian CrUSAders and piggy apes Jews. Leave us alone. Our president is going to help us.
Grrrrrr. You have no idea how depressing this all is. This all wouldn’t be necessary if we actually had a government that cared for the people. We wouldn’t need no aid workers. We wouldn’t need no damn UN and we wouldn’t need no damn AU. Too bad the country that was once called “the bread basket”, a country with so much potential is now in such bad horrible shape.

This is just getting “Better & better” dont u think?
Its simply too much to take!
Blame it on the Jewz.. that would make sense.. Our Arab Goverments are Angels and jews are the ONLY devils on earth! rmmbr?!
watever!!
Perhaps the Jews should run Sudan. Arab populations under Jewish rule tend to grow rather than shrink.
*adds another notch to the rapidly shrinking wall*
We live in the “OC” so most kids are relatively priviliged. My son came home a few years ago from his high school. He told me he had a friendly debate with an Arab kid who told him that he was so against Israel because, and I quote, “they have killed over 10 million Palestinians”.
I know this stuff can get old after awhile…but I ain’t going to stop bringing up these horrible lies.
“they have killed over 10 million Palestinians”
What? He must have meant in his immediate neighbourhood. I cannot imagine it was only 10 millions.
What are they wasting all this money on?
But seriously, I think this is good news about this Arab kid’s reason for being against Israel.
It means that he doesn’t actually have anything against Jews or Jews living in Palestine or a democratic country. He was simply told a stupid lie and chose to believe it.
I sometimes doubt whether my 100% support for Israel is morally right. But there are two things that ALWAYS re-assure me.
The first is the fact that the terrorists continue to use human shields; because this implies that they trust Israel to try not to harm non-combatants. As long as the terrorists trust Israel’s repupation for avoiding civilian deaths more than they fear Israel’s revenge, Israel must be the side to support.
The second is the hilarious lies that people who don’t support Israel believe in. The more fantastic their claims, the easier it is for me to support Israel’s right to defend herself against these people, using any means necessary.
Thank you, Hamas and Hizbullah, thank you Arab kid. Thank you for the trust, and thank you for the re-assurance.
Andrew-
OK…then try this one on.
I work with retarded folk with behavior problems. I had a case of a Palestinian family. My client was in his 20’s (this is about 15 years ago). I met with him and his Mom. We became fairly friendly so I started using some of the Arabic I know. They asked where I learned…blah blah.
The retarded guy goes, “we hate Jews”.
Mom was a bit flustered and said, “no we only taught you to hate the bad Jews”.
So this crap about “only Zionists” or whatever does not quite fly. Even my Darfur friend says that when he studied in Egypt he was constantly fed the Jews are nothing but pigs and apes line.
I am sure there are Muslims that have understandable negative feelings about Israel or Zionism…but Jew hatred is common in the Muslim world and has been for hundreds of years. Fuck that “oh we were such good buddies until Israel”. Yes there were periods where we were good buddies…as long as we kept our heads down and were good “house niggers” as we say in the USA.
Howie,
I know all that.
In fact, it would have been a lot worse if the Ottoman government had not always intervened (never enough, but they at least tried). It’s tribalism and Arab nationalism coming through. Both are always bad for minorities.
And it’s not just the Jews. Think Kurds, think Kopts, think Maronites, think Sunnies in Shia countries and Shiites in Sunni countries. ALL minorities get it in the neck. The Jews are just the most visible.
Iraqi Kurdistan for example has the same problems as Israel and uses the same strategy to solve them: they have strict border controls and don’t allow Arabs in. (But nobody criticises them for it because Kurds are not a world-wide minority and the Jews are still the minority it is OK to discriminate against.)
Do you want to be a Kurd in Syria or a Jew in Egypt? Doesn’t make much of a difference.
Is it a wonder that those minorities who have had enough of it tend to band together? The Kopts are still trying to be the “house niggers” in Egypt. But Kurds and Jews seem to learn from each other, and the Maronites certainly could use Israel’s help.
Andrew and Howie, I as a muslim girl, raised and lived most of my life in uae, was also brought up on hating israielis and jews..
Up to recently I was beliving the whole concpiracy theories.. Putting all the blames in Israielis..
But maybe its this blogosphere, that opened my mind to many things in this political world.. Now.. I just direct my hatered strictly to the governments NOT the people..
I Hate the Israeli Governnemnt.. I Hate all Arab Countries Goverments.. I Hate the european governemnts.. Hell.. I hate all governments..
Politics has added nothing but Hate, distruction and suffering to all people!
Tell me one government that is concerned bout the people more than keeping its power?! NONE!!!
I want to let you know I linked to you new initiative in regard to Darfur, also I read your blog frequently and learn from the opinions here.
I recently read Jimmy Carters Book Palestine: Peace not Apartheid and as you may know his views are definieitely pro Palestinian, I have always been (conflicted and this book did not help that situation any) as it seems, even at NYU in academic classes I have taken, there are opinons held up by historical fact which can be interpreted and shifted and made to look either way. I am always conflicted over the conflict there-off.
My question has always been where did the ” hate ” begin and why.

Precious and Cooper-
Watch this site a bit later on…I have a LOT to share with you.
Thank God for these blogs…I can discuss, teach to and learn from people I never would have otherwise contacted.
Precious…you are asking the right questions. There is much for you to learn. Ask Drima…it can be discomforting having all your assumptions challenged. But Truth, such as it is available on planet earth, has many nuances, uncertainies and grey areas. If you want to suffer through that…keep coming back to these types of sites.
Cooper–there is a lot I can explain…some I can’t…but I will be back.
OK…Precious…let me give you a bit of my perspective:
In terms of governments…well I don’t think it is that simple. Let’s begin with the premise that we use in the USA and I basically accept “God created all men equal” (I view that in terms of rights, not in terms of talent).
Then we look at the governments that have been created by and run by men. They are not all the same…some are pretty good and some are horrible.
My opinion…the worse the world has to offer in terms of government, at this point in history, are mostly Muslim…Saudia, Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Sudan for example. But there is also China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba and other who now or recently were horrible. There we have almost no human rights, no free press, repression of women, no true voting system, no right to information, government officials not held to the rule of law.
Systems were developed…mostly in the West, where it is much more difficult to pull this crap. All of Western Europe now, the USA and, yes. hated Israel have; free press, womens rights, gay rights, rights to free speech. In these countries it is a scandal per week and HIGH officials lose their jobs and even go to prison. There are systems of ACCOUNTABILITY. Minorities have enormous rights. I can openly criticize George Bush and there is no knock on my door at night. No lashes…no disappearances.
Even hated Israel…sorry, but much of what you here about Israel involves lies. Has Israel hurt people? Yes. Do the Palestinians have legitamate complaints? Yes. Do the Israeli’s have legitamate complaints? Yes. Have the Jews suffered terribly for about 2,000 years with and had no country? Yes. Did their return to Israel create a whole set of enormous problems? Yes.
But in Israel you have Muslim citizens with full rights. Is there predjudice…yep..and that goes both ways. But did you know that thousands of Israeli Muslim citizens have businesses, live in very nice houses and are free to criticize the government?
Did you know there is an enormous PUBLIC debate in Israel about war, Lebanon, the Palestinians to the point where Jew has turned against Jew over the issues of land and peace. That there is an enormous LEFT and well as a RIGHT in Israel and the country is split almost equally in half on various issues of how to obtain peace?
Did you know that in the public schools there is NO anti-Arab or anti-Muslim curriculum….NONE and I know this because my wife went to school there, taught there and also my son just graduated high school there. In fact, the public school system is rather LEFTIST in orientation.
Jews and Muslims work and do business together every day. Women in hijab shop in downtown Tel Aviv and are not bothered, even after a terror attack when feelings run very high. Arab cab drivers roam freely around the country (no not Palestinian Arabs, that is a whole different story which involves terror/security issues).
No it ain’t one big happy family. But did you know a Jew cannot even TOUCH the sands of places like Saudia? Are there enormous problems to be worked out in Israel? You bet. Is there racuous and open debate there? Yes there is. Do the vast majority of Israelis want peace? Yes.
Precious I have sat together with terror victims whose lives have been literally blown to bits…eyes lost, legs lost, hearing lost, children lost. I know one lady whose child was shot to death while she held it on her lap after a terrorist had entered her home. He also shot her and then shot her other son in the head. I talked to her and others like her. Precious…not one of those folks spoke of hatred or revenge…I sure would have. But the all said one common thing “this should never happend to anybody”. Yes…of course, Palestinians have been shattered, but I am not really arguing “sides” here.
These blogs. have talk me what a famous Jewish holocaust survivor said, Victor Frankle I think…”there are only two types of people in the world…decent and indecent”. Much truth to that.
Anyhow…governments…they are made of decent and indecent people. However, dictatorships, I believe are DE FACTO run by the most ambitious, selfish, callous, indecent people in exisistence…so non-democracies will always be miserable. So don’t just “hate governments”…Take a look at a wider picture. The USA government has done evil and has also done some wonderful and kind and amazing and generous things. We are not naturally “better” humans but were blessed with a system of government, but together 200 years ago by freakin geniouses, that has progressed and has sustained many wonderful freedoms.
Geez…that is such a small part of what I would like to share with you.
Cooper-
I will get to you next unless somebody like Raccoon, who is smarter than I, will take me off the hook. I have to get some work done here.
Just because Bashir can fool Tardsret….

This makes my point even better…please read it for it is a mircocasm that represents the marco. “If you disagree, then terrify, destroy, hide”. Do you see how they fear truth and freedom? Can you understand how terrible this is?

Precious
this reminds of a blogster (ihath) i used to read long ago - an iraqi woman from kuwait married with a palestinian and living in canada - who lived in israel for some time due to her husband’s work (university professor).
she wrote:
“…..imagine my surprise, when i discovered that israeli’s were actually PEOPLE… ”
“I Hate the Israeli Governnemnt.. […] Tell me one government that is concerned bout the people more than keeping its power?! NONE!!!”
It is a matter of perspective, I guess.
I arrived in Israel for summer school during the last Lebanon war. The Lebanese militia was throwing rockets at my university (Haifa) at the time.
The Israeli government had already evacuated the north so that people would not get hurt. The university had moved everything to Jerusalem and I went to Jerusalem instead of Haifa.
Israel and the university of Haifa were concerned about me. And I am neither a citizen nor did Israel care whether I was Christian, Jewish, Muslim or what my nationality was (I am German).
Believe me, you cannot arrive in Israel like I did and experience what I experienced and not be impressed by how much her government and organisations cared.
[…] Drima the Sudanese Thinker expresses his intense displeasure with the president of Sudan in Omar al-Bashir the Propaganda Machine Thinks We’re All Retarded Ignorant Fools. And another Sudanese blogger, blogging from Sudan, appeals to her president on behalf of the people of Darfur. […]
Howie, may I cop the comment you addressed towards Precious? It answers many questions I have been plagued with.
Tse, I throughly enjoyed reading the discussion all of you had at the Radiation post.I wanted to say what the blogger said about Israelis being ppl but I didn’t know how to phrase it in a non-offensive way:)
