1- Do you like the look and the contents of your blog?
Unfortunately I’m never satisfied so I just try not to think about it. I guess that means no huh? I love my new banner though.
2- Does your family know about your blog?
Yes, they all do. My mom wants me to stop because she fears I’ll get thrown in jail and tortured if I go back to Sudan for a holiday.
3- Can you tell your friends about your blog? Do you consider it a private thing?
Not all my friends because it is indeed kind of private.
4- Do you just read the blogs of those who comment on your blog? or you try to discover new blogs?
I read all kinds of blogs all the time.
5- Did your blog positively affect your mind? Give an example.
Hell ya. I’m not as anti-Israeli as I used to be. It turns out Palestinians are not completely blameless.
6- What does the number of visitors to your blog mean? Do you use a traffic counter?
Reach. Yes.
7- Did you imagine how other bloggers look like?
Oh ya defintely, especially the Israeli ones, Big Pharaoh and Richard of Hyscience.
8- Do you think blogging has any real benefit?
Defintely. It’s set to change the world. Never before have we as individuals been able to reach out to the “enemy” only to discover that this enemy isn’t really an enemy. The true enemy is ignorance about the enemy.
9- Do you think that the blogsphere is a stand alone community separated from the real world?
Nope , it’s not.
10- Do some political blogs scare you? Do you avoid them.
No and no.
11- Do you think that criticizing your blog is useful?
Yes, it is. Criticism is what enables a person to improve. Constructive one that is.
12- Have you ever thought about what happen to your blog in case you died.
Now that you mentioned it, ya.
13- Which blogger had the greatest impression on you?
It’s a bunch of bloggers really. Big Pharaoh and Sandmonkey had a considerable effect though.
14- Which blogger you think is the most similar to you.
None. I’m unique but there are defintely some bloggers out there who share many similarities like mine I guess. Some of them are Omar Basawad, Halalhippie and Tsedek.
15- Name a song you want to listen to?
The Fray - How to Save a Life
Yes, I’m done. So has my blog had a positive effect on YOU?

I just showed my Mum your blog… hahah
I was telling her about how your political views/stand has “adapted” (i wouldn’t say changed) since you started blogging.
I think blogging helps us understand each other more.. understand each other’s viewpoints and where each of us is coming from.
and ignorance is definately not bliss.
I enjoy your blog in its entirety.

I especially like your answer to question #8.
For me your blog is priceless. Genuine and “human” (as opposite of organizations or media) information from the behind the scenes of a very troubled country, mixed with your cultural values and personal views ~ and
…… I think you’re a very nice person, so that makes it even more enjoyable to read & communicate
Hmmmm…. whazzup with that msn space thing? How can I listen to music there? Where do I go?
Tse.
Yeah, Drima, you promissed to put some of your music up on the ‘net. We’re waiting with bated breath
Your blog has had a positive effect on me.
First of all implicit in your question is that you intend a positive effect. That intention alone puts a smile on my face. You write very well, and I’m impressed that you manage to post so often. I’ve copied the permalink from your recent post on Darfur and have recommended your blog to a discussion group at tribe.net about Darfur. I’m an American and it’s so hard to get perspective on enormous tragedies. In my city there are refugees from southern Sudan. From my little interaction with a few of them the complicated politics becomes apparent. But I quickly run out of my depth when the subject turns to Darfur. I also talk about northern Uganda with friends and something that hits me in the gut like a punch is when their hands go up signaling they think it’s all intractable. That’s a long way around to saying the second really positive effect you have on me: You see ways that problems can be solved. You model the openness and dialog necessary for solving the really hard human problems too.
You have a positive effect on me and many others because you walk in a positive way. Thank you for blogging.
John Powers, thank you for your very kind words. They’re very propeling and I really aprpreciate every single one.
About my music… Okay well here’s the thing. I could give you a link to the myspace spot but then my identity will kind of be revealed. So as soon as I get some free time, I’ll make a new page on myspace just for you guys.
Plus, I’ve already started working on my first podcast. It’s not going to be one of those really crude ones you always hear. I want to make it sound a little professional. The music I’ll be using in it will all be mine. Consider it like a sneak preview.
Until then keep waiting hehehehhe =p
